Kayla is a speech therapist who provides speech teletherapy for adults and children to help them reach their communication goals, and become the most effective, confident communicators that they can be.
Her therapy philosophy is collaborative and client-centered, bringing her expertise to help clients meet their communication goals. She values and embraces neurodiversity as well as cultural-linguistic diversity, and always strive to create a strong client-clinician bond. Kayla has over 5 years of experience as a speech therapist working with both adults and children in settings such as telehealth, schools, private practice, rehab facilities, and skilled nursing homes. She specializes in stuttering & fluency disorders, aphasia and language disorders and voice disorders. She also has experience with articulation disorders, accent modification, and gestalt language processing. |
Credentials & Certifications:
Kayla received her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Maryland, is certified by ASHA (American Speech and Hearing Association) and is licensed to provide speech therapy in Maryland and Virginia.
Kayla currently holds the Spero Ally of Stuttering™ Seal, which affirms her continued training in current stuttering treatments and involvement in the stuttering community.
