Voice Therapy
Are you or a loved one having difficulty using your voice effectively? Is your voice getting in the way of expressing your thoughts? You may benefit from voice therapy.
What are voice disorders? Voice disorders affect how your voice functions and may impact your ability to speak normally. Voice disorders may be related to voice overuse or misuse, neurological conditions, or other physical and/or emotional related reasons.
Your voice disorders may manifest as having a tired voice at the end of a day, having a raspy or hoarse sounding voice, or having to "push" to get your voice out. Speech therapy can help strengthen your voice and can help you learn to use it more efficiently.
It may be necessary to see an Ear Nose and Throat doctor (ENT) or other specialist to identify the specific disorder prior to beginning voice treatment.
